Much to my disappointment, they did not take me to their bed again. Even worse, sometimes the hairs on the back of my neck prickled. I understood what was going on, I was being paid to ignore my instincts. Curiosity rotted my brain, and before, where I didn’t notice their comings and goings, now I did. Now, I even trailed after them and noticed the direction that they took. Their movements were irregular, as if they knew they were under surveillance.


This is an original story, chronicling how three of the characters of my upcoming novelette, The Vampire’s Gallery, met.
